Tamás LÁBADY

Dr. Lábady was a Judge of the Constitutional Court from June 1990 to July 1999. From July 1993 to November 1998 he was Vice-President of the Constitutional Court.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Pécs in 1968. He was a judge specialised in civil cases from 1 July 1970. After 1980 he was presiding over one of the chambers at the County Court. He has been lecturing on Civil Law, especially Torts, Liability and Insurance Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Pécs since 1973. He received his candidate’s degree in 1988 and he has been senior lecturer since 1991.
