Dr. Tersztyánszky-Vasadi was a Judge to the Constitutional Court from June 1999 to February 2006.

After graduating from the Faculty of Law of Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest (ELTE) in 1958, she studied for the bar and between 1962 and 1964 qualified as advocate-legal counsel. From 1961 to 1989 she worked for the National Savings Bank (OTP), where she became Head Counsel of the Central Legal Department of OTP and later Head of the Department of Housing Loans and Investments. In 1989 she became chief counsellor of the Constitutional Court and in 1990 adjudicator at the Committee on Specialist Examinations for Law. Since 1997 as titular senior lecturer she has been teaching Financial Law at Pázmány Péter Catholic University, holding also the post of Finance Deputy Dean between 1998 and 2000. Her fields of interest are Financial Law and Civil Law.
