Member of the Constitutional Court since 2 September 2023.

He graduated from the Eötvös Loránd University in February 1979. He then worked as a court clerk at the Central District Court of Pest. In 1982 he was appointed judge, and for one year he tried civil cases at the Esztergom District Court, and later also administrative and economic cases at the Central District Court of Pest. On 1 May 1991 he was appointed a judge of the Supreme Court. In 1999, he was appointed a panel chairman and subsequently also served as Secretary General. In February 2002, he was appointed Deputy President of the Supreme Court and then President of the Supreme Court. Since 2004, he has been an honorary professor at Pázmány Péter Catholic University.
