Member of the Constitutional Court since 15 April 2020.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law of Eötvös Loránd University in 1976.

After graduation, he started working at the Central District Court of Pest, where as a judge he dealt mainly with classical property law cases, dealing with disputes in rem, probate and contract law. In 1983-84 he was deputy president of the XVIII and XIX District Court of Budapest. From 1989 he practised as a lawyer, mainly representing businesses. From November 2010 to April 2020 he was the President of the Hungarian Competition Authority.
